Hi Agnes Louis, now that you mentioned it, yes I heard about this burger technique too somewhere.

I’ve also heard about the 3:1 ratio. It’s essentially the ideal figure for praise-to-criticism, which they derived from the core finding that people are likely affected twice as much by negativity. 3:1 seems generous and more “palatable” to the recipient.

I felt that the yin/yang approach is a precursor to the burger and the 3:1 technique, which addresses education from its core through the moral, social and the intellectual aspect of it.
