There are times when we turn to the internet, glossing over self-help articles hoping to get the one that catches our attention, and potentially find the answer to the tangled mess you got yourself into.
Self-help advice does anything but allows us to feel productive without doing the required work. This has recently become a common topic of argument that I have with some of my peers.
And, I think that they do raise a good point.
You see, pieces of advice are merely speculation and conjecture unless tested with real action. Furthermore, there is no direct template on how to get oneself out of a difficult situation. After all, every one of us has a different circumstance, uniquely to our own.
This is why I focus on how we can strengthen the brain and its inner workings. At least, on a general sense, we can benefit from having a positive mind.
Today was a lousy day for me.
I placed a $50 note on my breast pocket. That was part of my income for the day and I sped off on my motorcycle on my way back home. Somewhere along the way, I caught sight of a flimsy piece of paper flew off from my jacket. I didn’t really think about it until I reached home and realized the cash is gone.
